The time seems to be flying by these days. It feels like it was only a couple months ago that I said good-bye to my work mates and family in London, packed my bags and landed in Switzerland with the intention of making it my home, at least for the next few years. In reality that was almost five months ago.
To celebrate the sunny weather and the end of May, Martin and I spent Saturday up on Gurten. The top of the mountain offers great views of the city of Bern as well as the surrounding mountains.
We tossed around a disc and watched the kites and glider planes fly by in the sky. I wore sandals for the first time and we left our coats at home.
Moving to Switzerland has had its ups and downs. Thankfully, though, many, many, many more ups than downs.
Happy June to you all!
