London Calling

photoMartin and I are flying to London tomorrow. We need to check on some work that has been completed on one of our rental properties up north and speak with a couple contractors to discuss more work that can be done on the property.

Martin will be flying back on Monday (one of us has to work, I guess), but I will be staying a week longer. I’m staying with my sister, brother-in-law and their two year old daughter; my ridiculously adorable and clever, chatterbox of a niece. It will be a nice change from my usually quiet week days. I just hope she lets Aunty have at least one “bloody lie in”. Sorry, that’s an inside joke.

There’s a lot of stuff I need to do and people I need to see, so I’ve started making a list.  I’m hoping to get to do and see all of it, but I’m not going to stress too much about it, I will definitely be back.

One thing that has been stressing me out for the past two days is that I can’t, for life of me, remember the PIN code for my UK debit card. See, that’s the problem with having bank accounts in three different countries, there are way too many codes, passwords and PINs to remember. Yeah, I realise this is a ridiculous “problem” to have.

As I’ll be away all next week, I’ve chosen a “flashback” post from one of my old blogs to re-post each day. I hope you enjoy them!

    • It is seriously driving me insane! I have 6 chances before I block my cards as 3 have the same PIN (bad me, I know!). Every time I think I have it, it’s not the right one. It’s super frustrating because I will need to use my other foreign bank accounts while I’m there if I don’t remember it. 😦 Silly brain!

  1. Have fun in London, Bry! Give Lilia a kiss and a ‘squeeze’ from Nonna. Counting the days until I can squeeze her in person:) Also, you’re too young to forget your PIN….that’s my curse! love you xxx

    • Spent the whole afternoon playing with her! I bought her a set of Nonna and Bobpa dolls which she loves. I remembered the PIN on my 2nd to last shot… Thank goodness! xx

  2. Thanks for your personal marvelous posting! I definitely enjoyed reading it, you will be a great author.
