Fit Friday: Update (week 1)

Changes and updates from Last week:

1. Reduce the “Holiday Extras” – I did pretty well with this change. Over the weekend I resisted getting ice cream treats even though they were being paraded in front of me everywhere I looked. I bought some low calorie popsicles to take off the edge for an after dinner treat.

2. Drink more water – I don’t think I’ve reached the 8 glasses a day for each day last week, but I’ve been making a conscious effort to drink more water, which is necessary in this heat.

3. Move more – My physical activity has increased a lot which isn’t difficult as it was basically nothing before last week. I’ve been walking and taking the stairs everyday. I think this is the main reason that I’ve seen some small changes in my measurements today.

Going Forward:

As I’m going to be in the UK all of this weekend and next week, I’m not going to introduce any new changes. I’m going to try and stick to the above three and hopefully maintain my weight. Fingers crossed this works!

Current Stats 13/06/2014:

  • Measurements: Bust – 34″ (no change) / Waist – 26.5″ (down 0.5″) / Hips – 40.5″ (down 0.5″)
  • Weight: 132.4 lbs / 60 kg (no change)
  • Height: 5’3″ / 160 cm
  • BMI: 23.4 (healthy) (no change)
