This past Saturday, Martin and I were invited out to his co-worker’s beautiful home. She and her family live just outside of Thun, twenty minutes from Bern in a lovely farmland setting with stunning mountain views.
We arrived in time for breakfast (yes, breakfast) and then went for an afternoon stroll around their small village. Along the way we visited some cows. It was then that I realised there are two types of people in the world: those who will let a cow lick their arm from finger tip to elbow and those who won’t even get close to them. I am the former. Martin refused to get close to me until I had washed my
hands entire upper body.
Look at this face! How could you resist it?
