I’m heading off for a hike up at Kleine Scheidegg early this morning, so there’s not much time for a post. I wanted to share with you something I’ve been doing for the past couple of weeks: reverse washing my hair.
Yeah, it sounds a bit odd, but it really does work. I’m not sure where I heard about this hair washing technique, but it’s so simple, I thought I’d try it out for myself. I may be generalising here, but most women shampoo and rinse their hair and then apply and rinse out conditioner. To reverse wash your hair, you do simply that, start in reverse. Condition first and leave it in while you’re washing all your other bits and then rinse out the conditioner. Next, shampoo and rinse out your hair with cool water. It sounds weird and I’m not sure why it works, but I have definitely noticed a difference in my hair. It feels softer, smells great (Martin noticed) and looks (maybe just to me) healthier.
If you try it, let me know how it turns out!
