It’s chucking down snow in Bern today. It’s the perfect excuse to stay inside, watch TV, eat goodies from Paris and upload and edit the photos from our holiday.
Our Christmas in Paris was lovely, different, but lovely. We’re used to lounging around in our pyjamas until noon on Christmas day, relaxing on the couch, opening presents and glugging back the mulled wine and mince pies before having a home cooked turkey dinner with all of the fixings. This year we spent most of our afternoon on Christmas day wandering around Montmartre , enjoying a champagne lunch and a beautiful sunset.
This was our 2nd trip together to Paris and witnessing the Eiffel Tower and the beauty of this city was just as awesome as the first time. It was great to catch up with Martin’s eldest brother, Andrew, and meet, Kathy, one of his friends from Oxford who is originally from Vancouver (like me!).
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas!
